MC-Vest micro® investment is mixed with a special liquid - MC-Vest Liquid - that can be easily diluted with demineralized water to adapt it to the alloy used. Thus the setting expansion can be controlled precisely and moulds made of MC-Vest micro® can be cast with all common dental alloys (precious and non-precious metal alloys). MC-Vest micro® moulds can be deflasked very easily.
When sandblasting, a pressure of 0.5 to max. 2 bar is quite sufficient. This protects the cast surface and therefore ensures a high accuracy of fit.
A special liquid is available for achieving higher expansion with non-precious metal alloys.
